There is a breakfast place in town called Goldy’s. I really like it, and so does the rest of Boise. Porter and I took a chance to have breakfast there this morning because the only time you can walk right in and sit down is in the middle of the week, early in the morning. He’s getting so proficient at using utensils and his manners are good too.

Watching cartoons

For the first time, Porter pedaled for the majority of the ride. After weeks of only going around the neighborhood because Porter wouldn’t stay on the bike, we finally made it all the way to the coffee shop. It was glorious!

Had coffee with my friend and midwife Holly today. It was both invigorating and soothing to talk with someone who feels the same way about birth as I do. And to know that our husbands are happy to spend the afternoon with our children so we could catch up. So blessed are we.

While I was out Luke and Porter realized that with all of the planes, trains and automobiles we posses, somehow we have no boats. Thankfully they are creative and constructed this awesome ship.

Walking the walk. Breakfast this week included Dutch Baby pancakes made with Green Goat eggs, organic Einkorn flour, and organic sugar. Topped with locally sourced and home canned white peaches form Williamson Orchard.

Porter tried pomegranate seeds for the first time today. We shared them during our tea party. They were the sweetest juiciest kernels I’ve ever had and he loved them.
